Once you have completed the course, you are ready to take the exam. This exam will have a Remote Proctor, meaning that you will need a computer with a camera and audio, which allows a remote live proctor to observe you while you take the exam.
In order to take your certification exam, you must have a system that meets the requirements and a valid ID. Watch the video to see all the rules that our proctoring partner, Integrity Advocate, enforces to ensure the exam is taken securely.
Once you’ve set up your exam area and the Integrity Advocate proctor has approved, you may begin the exam.

There are two possible test forms you can take. Both test forms are equivalent with the same minimum passing score of 75% +\- 0.1%.
Most states require that at least one person on duty during operating hours have a Food Manager certification. Even in states with no such requirement, individual counties may require Food Manager cards. Check with your manager to be sure.
You may take the course on any internet-enabled device.

No. The Food Protection Manager Certification subsumes all the information presented in the ANAB-approved Food Handler course, so you do not also need the Food Handlers card.
Yes. The ANAB/CFP Food Protection Manager program is accepted in all states and locales that require such certification.
