What is the TABC (texas alcoholic beverage commission)?
The TABC is the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission. This is the agency in charge of the administration of the Alcoholic Beverage Code in the state of Texas. As such, TABC certification is an important step for anyone who hopes to work in the food and beverage industry where alcoholic drinks will be sold. While certification is not required by the state, it is often a requirement of employment. So, you may need to complete your TABC certification before you can start work, or you might decide to pursue it before going on interviews to make yourself more attractive as a candidate.
